The time you spend at Cassels Brock will be challenging and rewarding, resulting in invaluable learning experiences - and fun. We don't want you to spend all of your time working, so we organize regular events during the year, both social and charitable (or something in between). Take a peek at our event photo gallery to see for yourself.
Social EventsCassels Brock regularly holds events to allow students and lawyers to relax and get to know one another. In the past, we've gone rock climbing, taken flying lessons, snowboarded, rowed Lake Ontario, raced around an Indy track, sampled the harvest at a winery, won big at the horse races, sparred in a boxing ring and had a laugh or two at our own expense learning cooking basics at Great Cooks on Eight. |

Lawyer Lunches
|
While our lawyers are undeniably hard-working, they are far from one-dimensional. After time for family and community, it’s hard to find time for personal interests and development. We’ve addressed this by having a regular lawyers’ lunch (students are invited too!) with interesting speakers who satisfy our interests beyond the world of law. Here are a few of our recent lunch guests: Jayna HeffordA veteran star of the Canadian Olympic hockey team and Cassels Brock's sponsored athlete Rex MurphyHost of CBC Radio's Cross Country Checkup, showcased his political insight Marina NematAutor of Prisoner of Tehran talked about what it was like to be arrested, tortured and sentenced to die at the age of 15 years old |
